Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Doris was a graduate of West Chester University of PA, taught music in the public schools of Smithtown, NY and taught piano lessons in Wellesley. Member of the P.E.O., Wellesley Garden Club, and Nehoiden Golf Club of Wellesley. She was a supporter of Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, was very generous in sharing her musical talents at North Hill, and was an avid bridge player. Memorial service will be held at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St. (Rt 16), Wellesley, Sunday March 10 at 2 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Private. SANTO, Patricia Kathryn Brown, 88, (6/12/24) of Wellesley and Sun City West Arizona died early Sunday morning, February 10, 2013 in her Wellesley home surrounded by family. The wife of the late Donald M. Santo, of Wellesley, she leaves her daughters: Susan Santo Laidlaw and Renee Patricia Heffernan of Dover, Mary Veronica Santo of N. Providence, Rhode Island; her son, William R. Santo of Westwood, and six grandchildren. Sister of the late John W. Brown. Mrs. Santo was born in Osakis, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Veronica Brown. She graduated from The University of Minnesota with a degree in social work and worked for Catholic Charities in Minneapolis before moving east with her husband and family. She belonged to St. Paul Church in Wellesley, where she served as a daily mass lectern and was a member of a Wellesley bible studies group. She was also active with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. In Arizona, she played Tournament Bridge at the Briarwood Country Club. She also spent many years as a volunteer working one-on-one with at-risk high school girls to encourage them to complete their education. Funeral from the George F. Cherished grandfather of A.J., Ryan and Meagan Grimm; Kristin Cibotti; Giles E. Mosher IV (Teddy) and Robert Mosher; and Grace and Liza Birmingham. A graduate of Boston College, Northwestern University’s School of Financial Public Relations, and Rutgers University Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Mr. Mosher was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of BayBank and Vice Chairman Emeritus of Bank of America. A devoted trustee of Boston College for more than 40 years, Mr. Mosher was also a member of the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Boston, a Director of Boston Mutual Life Insurance, the Massachusetts Business Development Corporation, and a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center for more than four decades. Dreesen, Bernice “Bea” 84, died peacefully, on Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013. She was born in 1928 in New York City. She and her sister Sylvia were the children of Anna and Joseph Sachs. Bernice graduated from Bloomfield High School class of 1946. She then went to secretarial school, and became a secretary at Ketchum and McDougal in Roseland, New Jersey, where she met her first husband, Richard McFadyen. They lived in Montclair and then Essex Fells, New Jersey. After the death of her first husband, she married Ronald Dreesen in 1971. In 1980, they moved from Essex Fells to Bernardsville, New Jersey, where they lived out their days in the beautiful 250 year-old stone home they lovingly restored. Mrs. Dreesen was a past president of the National ALS Foundation in New York, and an active contributor to local historic preservation committees. She was a passionate supporter of the environment, a gardener and antique collector. She is survived by her son Richard McFadyen Jr,, and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Iris. Memorial services will be held at The Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1 E. Oak St., Basking Ridge, New Jersey on Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 am.
